About Farm Camp Kids at Turkey Hill

Campers work and play in small groups and are led by a teacher and an assistant. Our schedule focuses us daily on four topics, including: (1) the garden, (2) farm animals, (3) forest habitats, and (4) pond life.


Popular activities throughout the summer include:


  • hunting for frogs
  • building forts & fairy houses
  • collecting eggs
  • digging up potatoes
  • making earthy art
  • caring for farm animals



Hours & Pricing for Farm Camp Kids at Turkey Hill

  • Hours
    • Farm Camp is open from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. After care is available until 5:00pm — at a rate of $10/hour due at pick-up.
  • Programs
    • Our 2-day Farm Camp program is on Tuesday and Thursday  — $140
    • Our 3-day Farm Camp program is on Monday, Wednesday & Friday — $190
    • Our full week of Farm Camp is Monday through Friday — $260.
    • The week of 4th of July, we are open Monday,Wednesday,Thursday and Friday— $210
    • The Junior Counselor Volunteer Program is free for ages 13 to 16.
  • Refunds
    • Payment is required at the time of registration.
    • Full refunds for cancellations require 30 days notice and include a $25 administrative fee.
    • Cancellations with 2 weeks notice will receive a 50% refund.
    • No refunds will be given with less than a 2 weeks notice





Farm Camp is open from July 2 until August 24 and is in operation from Monday through Friday.

Camper Necessities Checklist

  • Please send your child to Farm Camp each day with the following:
    • removable layers of clothing that can get dirty
    • a sun hat
    • a change of clothing
    • sneakers or a close-toed rugged sandal
    • a raincoat
    • lunch & snacks for the day
    • a filled water bottle
    • Apply sunscreen and bug spray at home. Be aware our bug spray contains deet to protect against ticks and other insects.
    • On really hot days we may do sprinkler play therefore you might want to send a bathing suit and towel.
    • Please do not bring electronic games or cell phones.
